Access to water safety education can be life-saving—but for many Muslim women, barriers like cultural norms, lack of inclusive programs, and limited safe spaces can make it inaccessible. That’s why CDNI’s Water Safety Project was designed specifically for Muslim women in our community. Through culturally sensitive training, swim sessions, and safety workshops, we’re breaking down barriers and building confidence—so every woman can feel secure and strong around water. Because safety should never be out of reach, and inclusion should never be an afterthought.
