Our Mission
About CDNI
CDNI was incorporated in February 2020 under the Associations Incorporations Act NSW 2009 and is a ‘Registrable Body’ by ASIC under the Corporations Act 2001 (C’wealth). The ASIC registration allows CDNI to operate in all States. It must report annually to both ASIC and the NSW Department of Fair Trading. CDNI is registered as a charity under the ‘Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission Act 2012’ (C’wealth) and it must report annually to ACNC.

Objectives and Purposes
- Recognising and alleviating the suffering, misfortune, helplessness, distress and/or poverty facing some newly arrived migrants and refugees by providing unique, culturally appropriate services
- Addressing gaps in other services (i.e. providing services not currently being provided) to alleviate as above; and
- Consult with government agencies & community about the poverty and distress being faced and requiring alleviation.
